| Alexander Pastene is an M.B.A.graduate from The American University of Washington, D.C., School of Business Administration, who --according to Pentagon (ret) USAF Col. Percy Jones, Dean of the School of Business Administration at American University-- was Emeritus Professor and well-known International Business author Howe Martyn's favorite student. Before discharging as American University Director of the International Business Department Professor Martyn had been Director of Marketing at Unilever and Director of Marketing at Lever Brothers corporations ...a giant, no less. Alexander Pastene carries in excess of twenty years hands-on experience in the fields of business, international business and marketing. He directed Pastene International Business Company; an import- export distributing company; Cooper Clark Co., Equestrian Products Division; a direct mail order operation, and Pastene Manufacturing Co., a Virginia based company specializing on the manufacture of English Equestrian Products and Equipment. Alexander Pastene rode horses since the age of about three. Alexander Pastene is author of Riding Contact, a technical book about balance, timing, rhythm, and tempo as a function of contact --the direct and indirect communications between horse and rider.
